When
we moved from Germany in 1997, we
immediately fell in love with the health-conscious lifestyle
we found in California.
We embraced our new home, but we missed the hearty breads and
scrumptious desserts we had grown up enjoying in Germany. So,
in 2004, we opened Esther’s German Bakery in order to
bring you (and us!) the best of both worlds.
At Esther’s German Bakery, we use only the finest whole
wheat organic flour, whole grains, and freshest ingredients
to bake exceptional breads, pretzels, rolls, pastries, and cakes
using traditional German recipes.
All our baked goods are made fresh by hand everyday and leave
our bakery warm from the oven for delivery around the Bay Area.
Early each morning, we shelve our breads personally in the bread
isles of our retail partners. This way we make sure you get
the best quality possible, everyday. We bake our breads in the
healthiest and most environmentally-friendly way possible.
